Pelham Research Optical (PRO) is a manufacturer of high quality VUV (vacuum ultraviolet) and UV (ultraviolet) optical filters, mirrors and coatings.

PRO has over 30 years experience specializing in the VUV-UV wavelength spectrum. Our team has had the pleasure of working on aerospace projects which include TRACE Program, UVCS-SOHO Mission and WFPC II - Wide Field Planetary Camera on the Hubble Space Telescope and the AFM- Actuated Fold Mirror for the 1993 Hubble Servicing Mission in their background history.

Pelham Research Optical box coaters are custom designed for VUV-UV optical coatings. In our lab we have UV-VIS-NIR spectrometers and vacuum (VUV) monochromators for reflectance and transmission measurements. Mil-spec inspection equipment and a full in-house machine shop. All of PRO coatings are inspected visually and optically before shipment.

PRO manufactures a standard product line of high quality VUV (vacuum ultraviolet) bandpass filters, narrowband and broadband optical filters from 121.6 nm to 214.0 nm. PRO also manufactures UV (ultraviolet) bandpass filters, narrowband and broadband optical filters from 220.0nm to 320.0nm. PRO standard VUV-UV optical filters are supplied on ½" (12.7mm), 1" (25.4mm), and 2" (50.8mm) diameter substrates. PRO filters can be manufactured on different sized substrates to meet your specific requirements. Optical filters can be customized for desired wavelength and bandpass upon request. PRO always supplies a transmission curve with each filter.

Pelham Research Optical manufactures VUV-UV Broadband High Reflectance Mirrors and coatings. These Enhanced Aluminum coatings can be supplied on PRO standard mirror substrates or applied to customer supplied material (CSM). In the VUV, UV (nitrogen purged) and the UV-VIS these coatings are a must for maximum light throughput

PRO manufactures UV Metallic Beamsplitters @ 45 degrees AOI for the UV (170nm to 300nm) and (ND) Neutral Density filters for the UV are available with Optical Densities from 0.1 to 4.0 from 200nm to 320nm.

Pelham Research Optical supplies a complete line of analytical grade (AG) and laser grade (LG) circular window substrates. Substrate materials include UV Grade Fused Silica.
